This hotel is located in a stunning area teaming with beautiful fish, right on the shores of a large lake that extends south to Odda. Guests can enjoy their breakfast while appreciating the fantastic fjord view. the rooms have balconies, and some have fjord views. the bathrooms are clean, and the service is cheerful and helpful. Complimentary waffles and coffee are provided during the afternoon, and the restaurant has good dishes.
The hotel lacks some basic facilities such as tea/coffee making facilities in the room or hooks to hang things in the bathroom.

The hotel was very clean and it had internet.
The room was not what we had booked (even after e-mailing/ talking on the phone and checking in at the front desk) We still had a have a roll away bed put into our already small room. There was no information in our room at all - to call desk/about are/ room serve/how to call another room etc. There was not an iron or ironing board in the room. There were no fans in the room. The food seemed a little overpriced. There was not a Fjord view, as stated on Booked.net

I had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly helpful, especially at the reception. The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the fjord from the rooms. I was lucky enough to have a balcony on a higher floor, which made the experience even more memorable. The hotel is conveniently located near a well-stocked shop, making it easy to grab any essentials. The breakfast spread was absolutely incredible, with a wide variety of delicious and healthy options. I also appreciated the fact that the breakfast hours were long, allowing me to leisurely enjoy my meal.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

The location is convenient with free parking. The room was clean and confortable. Wifi in the room. The view on the fjord was nice from the little room balcony.
The extra bed was not in the room when we arrived but was quickly installed. The information for the dinner was not given to us when we entered the dinning room We ended up with the buffet without knowing the price. It turned out to be very expensive for very average food and choice (I would recommend 'a la carte' instead). The breakfast was average. The hotel is fairly quite inside but we had to sleep with the windows open (very warm in the room) and the noise of the traffic on the main road was disturbing.

Fantastic views from the rooms and a great location for exploring the beautiful fjord region. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. A real highlight was the delicious breakfast buffet with plenty of choice to start the day off right.
The hotel was showing some signs of wear and tear, especially in the bathrooms, which could have used some updating. The heating system was also a bit unreliable, making for some chilly nights during our Easter stay.

As perfect as the glorious fjords. The location is superb for country strolls and hikes.
Close to the hotel is a very famous medieval church, however, "someone" had departed with the key and was not available anywhere - including the tourist information. I suggest that the hotel takes this business in hand and enables tourists to visit this site.

In Kinsarvik there are no other restaurants so the hotel is your only choice if you want to have some dinner. Small menu, very high priced for average quality. Breakfast ok, but they wanted to charge us 50 NKR for 3 sandwiches we wanted to take.

Spent a lovely Easter in a cozy village with stunning fjord views. the hotel proved to be an excellent choice with clean rooms and a friendly staff. the breakfast offered a good variety and the surrounding area was peaceful and quiet. We were also pleasantly surprised to find a supermarket and key transportation options only a short walk away.
The bathroom could use a bit of updating, and the towels were quite thin. there could have been better curtains to block out the 3am sunrise.

My partner and I found all of the staff to be very friendly and helpful at all times. The rooms were very comfortable and clean with good views of the fantastic scenery. The hotel being in Kinsarvik is an excellent base to travel to the surrounding sights during the day and the ferry just across the road allows easy access to the towns on the opposite side of Hardanger Fjord. The hotel is also very family friendly with good facilities for children and a nearby water-park. The walk up the Husadalen Valley behind Kinsarvik to the many waterfalls was amazing! We where awestruck at the size and power of the falls and the scale of the mountains is hard to describe. The Kinsarvik Fjord Hotel will be recommended to my friends and also my parents who will be in Norway next year. It was also special for me as my family name (Harding) originated in the region. Thank you.
The only thoughts we had were that the coffee shop next door was a bit to modern for the area and a more traditional decor would be more inviting.
